Summer Nearshore: June – September
• Cobia: June through September. Virginia Beach’s most sought-after nearshore fish. Sight-cast or chum them up around the CBBT
• Spanish Mackerel: Fast, hard-hitting schools June – September. Light tackle fun
• Spadefish: May – September. Great for kids — they fight hard and taste great
• Bluefish: May – October. Aggressive and perfect for nonstop action
• Sharks: June – September. Atlantic sharpnose, blacktip, and sandbar sharks provide hard-fighting action nearshore. Catch & release on most species per VA regulations
Spring & Fall Nearshore: April-May & October-November
• Striped Bass (Rockfish): Spring trophy season + fall run around Lynnhaven and the CBBT
• Sheepshead: Structure bite around the CBBT which is tough in my larger boat but can do nearshore wrecks May – July
• Flounder: Summer through fall on nearshore reefs and ledges

All trips depart Lynnhaven Inlet, Virginia Beach, VA. Run times to fishing grounds are short — more lines-in time, less riding.
