Let us know your group size, preferred date(s), and whether you're interested in an offshore, nearshore, or sightseeing trip. If you're unsure which trip fits your group, just say so — Capt. Ryan will help you pick the right experience based on the season, weather, and who's coming along.
Planning your Virginia Beach fishing trip
Is That Right Sport Fishing runs private offshore and nearshore charters out of Long Bay Pointe Marina on the Lynnhaven Inlet in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Trips depart daily aboard our 36′ Luhrs sportfisher — a big, stable boat with an enclosed head, shade, and plenty of deck space that's just as comfortable for a family with kids as it is for a crew of experienced anglers. All rods, tackle, bait, and safety gear are included, and fish cleaning is part of every trip so you head home with dinner, not homework.
Offshore trips chase tuna, wahoo, and mahi-mahi in the Atlantic canyons, while nearshore trips stay within 15 miles of the coast for cobia, Spanish mackerel, spadefish, striped bass, and sharks. Sightseeing cruises are available for groups who want to take in the Chesapeake Bay, the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, and Virginia Beach's coastline without wetting a line. Whether it's your first time on the water or your hundredth, Capt. Ryan Rable will put you on fish and make it a trip to remember. Call or text (412) 972-0983to reserve your date.
